I'm 25 for a moment....

25 years ago, I was brought into this world by a really wonderful woman, who never ceases to care, love and support me until now. And along with this woman was a man who was always a role model whom I can look up upon and has always loved me dearly despite not really knowing how to show it. So, I want to thank them both here in my blog for everything.

So, I'm told that 1/3 of my life is already over (although I would prefer to think that I've only been through 1/4 of my life), what have I achieved so far? Well, the earliest memory that I can recall would probably be when I was 4 years old. The 1st achievement that I can remember would be learning to ride a bicycle. I remembered that my parents were thrilled.

I consider having the capacity to learn multiple Chinese dialect (Mandarin, TeoChew, Cantonese, Hokkien and a little Hakka) to be one of my achievements. I'm blessed with the opportunity to learn these dialects all thanks to my parents' heritage and to the places I have stayed. Believe it or not, I was actually pretty slow with developing my speech as a young pup. I didn't actually speak any sense until I was about 4 years old! Hahaha!

Studying was never one of my strong points, my mind always seems to wonder whenever I tried to concentrate. My mom would constantly worry about my school results. Hahaha! However, I believe that I did pretty well so far to pull through them all. Just recently, I've graduated with a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering in December 2008. Not too shabby, way to go Jordan! :P

Well, not intending to write my entire life's journey, I guess I'll just end with these. Although I might not have as many achievements as some people like Isaac Newton, Mother Teresa and Bill Gates, but with God's grace and providence, I believe that the achievements I have will spur even greater achievements in the future.

Alright, time for me to sign off, I've got some candles waiting for me. :D

Back home in Malaysia

Well, I'm back in Malaysia for a month already and nothing great has happened ever since. LOL! I was sick a week after arriving home and was down with the common cold (not the AH1N1). I got over that after 2 weeks of recuperation and I'm currently looking for a job.

So far, there has not been any calls or emails for interviews. Things are not looking too bright and shiny on my side. However, I have been praying and have faith that the Lord will provide. Afterall, He has been looking after me faithfully all this time. Perhaps, He wants me to be more patient and spend more time with Him before I commit myself to working. Or maybe, He doesn't want me to start working yet and go back for school. I guess the only way to know is to pray more and wait for an answer. Besides that, I also get a lot of support from family and friends. I am so blessed. Thank you all.

Anyway, I guess that's all I have to write this time. Wish me all the best as I go and hunt for more jobs! Off I gooooooo!!!
